News of the Month
GUJPHARM suggests and offers PGCC - Post Graduate Certificate Courses in Clinical Research, Regulatory Affairs, QA-QC, IPR, Marketing etc as Short Term Training Courses in specialized subjects.
Basic objective of such Courses is to make the Pharmacy Institute itself self sufficient and give the training and exposure to the students as per the need of Pharma Industries, CROs and R&D. Its my personal opinion and suggestion that Many Pharmacy Institutes of Gujarat can start PGCCs by their own and Pharmacy students did not require to waste time of 1-2 years and 1-3 lakhs of rupees for any other Institute or Center.
Additional to the basic degree of B. Pharm / M. Pharm, students can get certificate in the field of their interest and wish to join for profession. Add on courses can also help the student for Interview and at Job. Programme can be planned for 15 days / 2 months weekend / Special Batch. Basic fundamental of the syllabus for any Certificate is already in the B. Pharm / M. Pharm Syllabus Pharmacy Institute can add the update /recent part in the syllabus as per the need.

Mirror
After giving various level of interviews for the post few Pharma Industries are taking Bond from the selected candidates for 2/3 years for 2/3 lakhs of rupees. They also keep the original Mark sheets and other documents with them. It is not the right profession and ethics.

Bond or contract signing for the pharma job is the BAD for the candidate, actual thing is the candidate or fresher has no choice and need secure job that's why they are signing. But actually industry are not getting enough candidate so they want secure candidate like slave.Main reason is this, they write in bond that you cannot disclose any matter to other company at any time, but real thing is when candidate is doing and disclose any thing then candidate is treat like Big GOON but if industry want any person for their company or for project or for technology then they buy that person at any cost without any fear of doing wrong.
